Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted on a virtual private server (VPS) provided by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, in the Nuremberg (Germany) data centre. When you visit the website, technically necessary data (including IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, browser type) is processed in server log files. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Processing takes place within the European Union; a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider.
No cookies, no third parties
This website does not set cookies and does not embed third-party content. Fonts and all other resources are served locally from our own server.
Website analytics with Umami
To understand how our website is used, we use the open-source software Umami. Umami runs on our own server at Hetzner Online GmbH (Nuremberg data centre); the data is not passed on to third parties. It records the pages visited, the referring website, browser, operating system, device type, language and country. Umami does not set cookies and does not store anything on your device. The IP address is not stored; it is only used briefly to determine the country and to create an anonymous, regularly changing identifier used to count visits. This does not allow us to identify you. If your browser sends "Do Not Track", no measurement takes place. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in analysing and improving our website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Contacting us
If you contact us by e-mail or telephone, we process the data you provide in order to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for processing and no statutory retention obligations apply.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at).
